HALFTIME: Kentucky is steamrolling LSU on Senior Night

The best way to move past a blowout loss? You beat the hell out of the next team you play. Kentucky is on its way to doing just that against the LSU Tigers on Senior Night, the Wildcats up by 27 points with the score sitting at 50-23 in favor of the good guys. It’s the largest halftime lead of the season, for those keeping track at home.
How did it happen? Well, UK is currently shooting a ridiculous 58.8 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three while assisting on 12 of the team’s 20 made baskets — eight different players scoring for the Cats.

The Wildcats are destroying the Tigers on the glass (21-12), off the bench (17-8), in the paint (26-20), on fastbreaks (13-6) and on second-chance opportunities (5-0). That’s how you take a 27-point lead after 20 minutes of game time.
How about another 20 minutes just like it?
