https://twitter.com/UKCoachCalipari/status/1163128635126976512 After averaging 11.9 points, 8.4 rebounds per game in 2018 for the Sacramento Kings, Cauley-Stein agreed to a two-year, $4.4 million deal with the Warriors. Ultimately, the decision came down to situation for Cauley-Stein, as he couldn't turn down the recruiting of Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, and Draymond Green. “I know I had said something about getting paid at the beginning of the year. But by the end of it, it was no longer about getting paid. It was about staying secure and building off that security. … I think the Warriors are probably the best at doing that in the league. It was a really easy decision on me and my team’s part.” With the change of scenery and a talented group around him, Cauley-Stein is poised for an improved year.
