Having Fun With Bill Self's (Fake) Hair!

Bill Self wears a hairpiece and it is one of the biggest marvels in college basketball. It is remarkable. It is a piece of art, unlike anything the artificial hair world has ever known. The detail, the precision, the way the fake follicles embrace Self's bare scalp; it is all exceptional craftsmanship and nearly completely hidden to the naked eye. But I've seen it. I've seen it up close and personal, from no more than a foot away, and you have to believe me, world: Bill Self's hair is a lie. And if there is any chance that I am a bad judge of a good hair piece, my claim is supported by a Kansas booster, who confirmed to me that Self paid top dollar for a new, surgically-installed wig. So why does this matter, you ask? There are bald people everywhere, so who cares? It happens to the best of us, right? Well, yes. There is nothing funny about going bald.
