If you attended UK in the early 2000s, you're very aware of Angela Phillips. She was the 5'5" point guard who started 54 games and led the team in assists as a freshman and a sophomore before transferring away from UK. But, that's probably not what you remember her for. You probably remember her as the was the hot chick on the basketball team. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Well, it seems that Ms. Phillips has done fairly well for herself in her post-UK days, according to this profile by Susan Shan. Phillips is now modeling, writing for a magazine called Bella Petite (which had her as a cover model) and making appearances in videos for Ice Cube, Young Joc and Gorilla Zoe. Basically, she's found success on the career path that I believe Jared Carter has been traversing for a few years.
So, what's next for Phillips? Well, besides probably being stalked by Matt for an appearance on one-man late night podcast in Hubby's basement, it's starring in the film "Stepsisters", which was featured on CNN in July.
