HIGHLIGHTS: Kentucky upsets Florida at The Swamp
Of Kentucky’s three most recent trips to Gainesville to take on Florida at The Swamp, the Wildcats have returned home victorious twice. Tonight was the second.
Allowing just 279 yards overall, 12 first downs and zero second-half point, it was a dominant defensive effort for Kentucky in the 26-16 upset win. Will Levis (202 yards one touchdown), Dane Key (three catches, 83 yards, one touchdown) and Kavosiey Smoke (14 carries, 80 yards) all stood out on offense.

It was just the first time Kentucky football held a top-15 program in the AP Poll scoreless in the second half of a road game since 1977. It’s also the team’s 10th win against a top-25 opponent since 2015 after the Wildcats racked up 10 total between 1978-2014.
Overall it’s the first time Kentucky has beaten Florida in back-to-back games since 1976-77.
Not too shabby.
