Highly-rated '23 CB Amare Snowden includes Kentucky in top 6
Kentucky has quickly established inroads with a highly-rated defensive back.
On Friday afternoon, Amare Snowden included the Wildcats among his list of top six college choices. Snowden is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound cornerback out of Roseville, MI who was only offered by Kentucky less than two months ago back in early April. Despite the new relationship, UK associate head coach Vince Marrow has built a legitimate connection that has the ‘Cats fighting for Snowden’s services.
Snowden is considered a high three-star recruit by the On3 Consensus and ranked No. 410 among all rising high school seniors. He was named the DB MVP at a recent Rivals camp. Joining Kentucky in his top six are Penn State, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Howard.

As of right now, Snowden does not have any official visits scheduled. However, he has taken trips to Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Cincinnati during the spring. He previously told KSR that he intends to make it to Lexington for a Kentucky visit sometime this summer.
Snowden holds a significant connection to the Wildcat program, too. He told Clint Cosgrove of Rivals after dropping his top six that a pair of current Kentucky players, Deone Walker and DeAndre Square, are two of his “good friends”. Both Walker and Square also hail from Michigan.
