KyKy Tandy, one of the Bluegrass state’s top high school prospects from yesteryear, was on the move from Xavier University when he announced his presence in the transfer portal at the end of the season. Plot twist though, Tandy has removed his name from the free agency pool and will return to Xavier for his junior season.

An All-Big East Conference freshman in 2020, Tandy has been a regular contributor for the Musketeers but his minutes declined in his sophomore season this past year. Vanderbilt was rumored as a destination near his hometown of Hopkinsville, but Tandy ultimately decided to head back to Cincinnati to continue his college career.

As a high school prospect, Tandy was tabbed as a four-star player and named the USA Today Kentucky Player of the Year out of University Heights in the Class of 2019.
