Saint Peter's v Kentucky
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - MARCH 17: Head coach John Calipari of the Kentucky Wildcats reacts in the first half against the Saint Peter's Peacocks during the first round of the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on March 17, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. A couple of weeks ago I did a video defending John Calipari and even went as far as to say, “I will die on the hill that this is a good basketball team capable of winning lots of games.”

A 26-point beating by Bama and a loss to South Carolina at home later and that hill got pretty lonely.

I could not understand how this team was not winning games. After reading more criticisms about how John Calipari runs his offense, I ended up down a rabbit-hole of watching games from past seasons. What I found was that Kentucky was a statistical anomaly in one area nearly every season.

Obvious to a lot of Kentucky fans, that was three-point shooting.

But just how bad has it been?

To find out, I spent a lot of my free time re-watching (and reliving) heartbreaking tournament losses and putting together the video below, so please watch it, and subscribe to our YouTube page.
