Immanuel Quickley turns in another big Summer League performance
It was another big night for Immanuel Quickley in the Summer League. The former Cat scored a game-high 25 points and dished seven assists in the New York Knicks’ 91-82 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Quickley and rookie Miles McBride combined for 47 of New York’s 91 points, with Obi Toppin chipping in 17 points and 11 rebounds. Fellow former Cat Reid Travis played eight minutes, scoring four points and grabbing a rebound.
On Monday, Quickley had 32 points, eight assists, and only one turnover in a win over the Pacers, silencing critics that questioned the Knicks’ decision to try him out at point guard. Last night, Quickley was mic’d up, giving us an inside look at him as a floor general.
