Immanuel Quickley on his family and faith
Immanuel Quickley is up this week in CoachCal.com’s “Meet the Wildcat” series. The freshman guard is the latest in a long line of basketball players in his family, which is so competitive both his mother and grandfather still believe they can beat him one-on-one (Quickley insists that wouldn’t happen). Quickley knows being a Kentucky Basketball player won’t always be easy, but says his family and faith will help him stay strong.
“The challenges ahead are what’s going to make the journey great, and just having the support system of my family and having Jesus by my side is what’s going to help me a lot,” Quickley told TJ Beisner.
