Following a long road through the high school and college ranks, Quickley saw his basketball dreams come true when the Oklahoma City Thunder selected him with the 25th pick, followed by the Knicks immediately trading for him. Officially a Knick, Quickley will join former Wildcats such as Kevin Knox, Julius Randle, Nerlens Noel, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kenny Payne in New York. To celebrate the moment and draft day in general, a film crew followed Quickley around for his documentary series "Walking In My Purpose," providing an inside look at what it's like to be an NBA prospect going through the draft process and the emotions that come with hearing your name called. Between the family conversations, pre-draft haircut, choice of attire, the buildup, Quickley hearing his name called, and the ensuing celebration, the episode is absolutely worth your time.
