If you’re headed home from the Kentucky vs. South Carolina game or just driving around tonight, avoid I-75 in Laurel County and say a little prayer. Both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-75 near London are closed from Exit 41 to Exit 59 due to an active shooting situation. KY 909 and US 25 nine miles north of London are also shut down.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, numerous people have been shot near the interstate. Governor Andy Beshear wrote on social media that he is actively monitoring the situation and is communicating with the Kentucky State Police and Office of Homeland Security.
