Though Fredrick is just now entering the portal, rumors of the former Covington Catholic standout returning closer to home – he’s originally from Cincinnati, OH – have been loud and clear since February, with Kentucky seen as the longtime favorite should a transfer come to fruition.
Now that Fredrick is officially entering the portal, fans should keep a close eye on this one. Desperately needing shooting help this past season, plenty could be on the way in 2021-22 with the potential addition of Fredrick, the signing of Davidson sharpshooter Kellan Grady, and the return of in-state standout Dontaie Allen.
