BBNBA: Isaiah Jackson, Pacers fall to Celtics; go down 0-2 in Eastern Conference Finals
After getting past the injury-riddled Bucks and Knicks, Isaiah Jackson and the Indiana Pacers were set to take on the top-seeded Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Game 1 came down to the wire as Jaylen Brown hit a three in the corner to catapult the Celtics to a 133-188 series-opening victory. However, Game 2 wasn’t very close. Through the first quarter, the Pacers had a 27-25 lead, but they just couldn’t keep up, falling 126-110 in the end.
Brown and Jayson Tatum combined for 63 points, and overall, the Celtics shot 15-37 (40.5%) from three-point range. No one for the Pacers really performed well, and that included Jackson.

In 17 minutes of play, the former SEC All-Freshman put up just three points, making one of his three shots. His five rebounds were a positive, however. Unfortunately, his overall impact on the game was minimal, and the Pacers now find themselves in an 0-2 deficit early in the series.
Tipoff for Game 3 will be at 8:30 p.m. EST on Saturday as the Pacers will be defending home court on ABC.
