Kentucky has been in the wide receiver market during the spring transfer portal. However, the return of Hardley Gilmore IV to the lineup has been the only addition to the room while the Cats officially lost Louisiana Tech transfer Tru Edwards to the NFL.

Another name came off the board on Sunday evening. Jackson State transfer Isaiah Spencer is headed to the ACC.

Kentucky had hosted the Madison (Miss.) Central product for an official visit. Baylor was also involved in this recruitment. That battle officially ended when Isaiah Spencer committed to the Hokies. The FCS transfer appeared in 14 games (522 snaps) as a sophomore and finished the season with 35 receptions (47 targets) for 660 yards and four touchdowns.

This commitment comes just a week after target Keelan Marion picked Miami. Options are quickly coming off the board. Kentucky currently has 12 scholarship wideouts on the roster. Five have transferred into the program this offseason and five others were 2024 high school recruits. That room will look much different this fall.

Gilmore, Lorenzo Cowan (EDGE, USC), and Seth McGowan (RB, New Mexico State) have been the only roster additions for Kentucky since the spring transfer portal opened.
