Kentucky makes money in March, even if you don’t suit up for the Wildcats. After slaying the college basketball blueblood, Jack Gohlke is cashing in with NIL deals.

Long before he knocked down 10 three-pointers against Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament, Gohkle was an accounting major at D-II Hillsdale College. Less than 24 hours after the NCAA Tournament victory, the future accountant was promoting tax software.

Gohlke teamed up with Turbo Tax for an 8-second social media ad. The amusing part is the setting. Instead of taking a shot on a basketball court, he posed for one at the team hotel.

That wasn’t the only advertiser who turned to Gohlke after his NCAA Tournament heroics. He didn’t even need to win to sign this NIL deal.

The Golden Grizzlies took NC State down to the wire but fell in overtime in the Round of 32. Buffalo Wild Wings has branded itself as the sponsor of overtime in March Madness. Even after the loss, they sent the Oakland sharpshooter a large spread to promote the six free boneless wings they’re giving to fans following the overtime game.
