Jameis Winston accused of stealing soda at Burger King, seriously
Jameis Winston’s embarrassing offseason just got a little more embarrassing today when TMZ obtained a copy of a 2013 phone call to the police from a Burger King employee claiming Winston was stealing from the soda fountain. The assistant manager at a Burger King just off Florida State’s campus is very upset during the call, embedded below, and asks for a police officer to come by right away.
The best part? Winston and his friends were drinking from ketchup cups. Yes, ketchup cups. Those little bitty cups for your ketchup. That’s what your Heisman winning quarterback used to get his free sugar rush.
The case was dropped but Winston didn’t learn his lesson, clearly.
