After Julius Randle fractured his tibia in his NBA debut last night, Twitter was buzzing with messages of support for the rookie.
Former Lakers star James Worthy also tweeted about Randle's injury, which is very similar to one he suffered during his rookie season. Worthy broke his leg when he landed improperly after trying to tap in a missed shot against the Phoenix Suns on April 10, 1983, but he rehabbed in time to start the 1983-1984 season.

From there, Worthy went on to become a seven-time NBA All-Star, a three-time NBA champion, and the 1988 NBA Finals MVP.
