Jamin Davis up to No. 14 in Mel Kiper's latest NFL Draft Big Board

Is Jamin Davis a lottery pick in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft? It’s now a possibility, per ESPN’s Mel Kiper.

After seeing his stock rise from mid-round contention all the way up to consensus first-round territory, Kiper has now moved the former Wildcat linebacker up to No. 14 overall in his latest Big Board update.

With the jump, Davis is now considered the No. 2 linebacker in the draft, behind only Micah Parsons of Penn State at No. 11 overall.

14. Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky

I put Davis in my Mock Draft 3.0 because he has been a hot name over the past few weeks. He’s rising and could even be the top off-ball linebacker to be picked. Davis has a big frame, and he’s a tough player who tackles. He had 89 last season, along with two picks, one sack and a forced fumble. He has some versatility and could play inside or outside. I really like his 2020 tape.

Beyond Davis’ rise as a surefire first-round selection, Kiper also included three other Wildcats in his top position rankings, with Drake Jackson, Kelvin Joseph and Max Duffy all sitting inside the top ten of their respective positions.

Jackson came in at No. 8 overall among top centers, good for No. 3 in the SEC behind only Landon Dickerson (Alabama) and Trey Hill (Georgia).
