Before WJ's game against Mercer County Friday night, fans of the  point-guard flooded the gymnasium to see Polson honored for his record-breaking career. Scoring a total of 1,884 points, Jarrod lead West Jessamine to back-to-back 12th region championships in 2009 and 2010. During the ceremony Jarrod was praised for not only being a star on the basketball court, but also a star in the community. For that, Jarrod was awarded a key to the City of Nicholasville. Jarrod was also presented with a frame which contained both his West Jessamine jersey and his UK jersey. Towards the end of the ceremony, Jarrod took the mic, making sure to thanks his family, teammates, coaches, school faculty, everyone in the Nicholasville community, and the BBN. UK takes on Georgia tomorrow at 1:30, but that didn't stop the entire team, including Cal, from coming out and supporting their Senior back-up point guard (Pics below).
