Jaxson Robinson shares behind-the-scenes look at Big Blue Madness
You know what it’s like to experience Big Blue Madness as a fan — this one being an all-timer. You see the sights and hear the sounds, soaking in the coach and player introductions, the special guests, and now, a state-of-the-art interactive glass floor. In a time to bring in a new era of Kentucky basketball for both men’s and women’s programs, the Wildcats did it big.
That’s from our perspective as members of Big Blue Nation, though. What’s it like experiencing it all as a player — especially one experiencing the most passionate fanbase in college basketball and a platform like no other at Kentucky for the very first time? Jaxson Robinson gave his first-person view of the official tip-off event on Friday, a behind-the-scenes look at Madness through his eyes.
The BBM vlog highlights the days leading up to Madness, including the players talking about their introductions with songs and dances, Mark Pope talking about his experience as a Wildcat back in the 90s, checking out the ASB GlassFloor for the first time, driving up to Rupp Arena in the bus for the Big Blue Carpet, dancing inside the locker room before the event, getting in the elevator and finding their locations for intros, then closing out with the 3-point contest.

My favorite part was Andrew Carr explaining his plan to do the Macarena and wear a suit with Travis Perry. Or maybe Kerr Kriisa unveiling his Single Ladies dance. So much good content to choose from.
More where that came from, please.
