Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman will be on the call for the SEC Tournament

Any chance Kentucky can bring some Rupp Arena ice cream with them to Nashville? The newest SEC Tournament television analyst would like to know.
ESPN will be sending its A-Team to Nashville for what is expected to be an all-time conference tournament with the SEC historically great — it is now projected to send a record 12 teams to the NCAA Tournament with two additional teams on the bubble. With that type of talent, you have to have Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman in the building.
Those two will be joined by sideline reporter Jess Sims from the first round to the championship game, according to the official release by ESPN.
That group will handle the early sessions in the first and second rounds on SEC Network before moving over to ESPN for the first two quarterfinals on Friday. They will then take over for each game on Semifinal Saturday and Championship Sunday. As for the others on site in Nashville, Karl Ravech, Jimmy Dykes and Molly McGrath are slated for the evening sessions across the first round, second round and quarterfinals from Wednesday to Friday.

Bilas and Shulman have traditionally been on the call for the ACC Tournament, ESPN presumably sending them to Nashville thanks to the ACC’s dip in talent with just three teams projected to make the NCAA Tournament. They will be replaced in Charlotte by a combination of Cory Alexander, Wes Durham, Jim Boeheim, Kevin Brown, Jon Crispin and Dave O’Brien throughout the week.
“This switch is not permanent and [broadcast assignments] will be determined on a year-to-year basis,” an ESPN spokesperson told Awful Announcing.
