Jay Williams Challenges Matt Jones: Sparks Will Fly on Wednesday's KSR

Jay Williams wants all of the smoke.
The former Duke Blue Devil and current ESPN college basketball analyst is joining KSR radio on Wednesday morning to settle a score with Matt Jones. It’s an old-school Radio War that will captivate audiences.
What got Jay Williams so fired up? A segment from today’s edition of Kentucky Sports Radio.
There are quite a few folks in the national media, like J-Will, who love to tell college basketball fans how to fan. That’s always a dumb idea. The part that really misses the mark is when they tell Kentucky fans how to feel about John Calipari. Matt Jones reminded them that Kentucky fans were right about Coach Cal. They were wrong. Jay Williams didn’t like that.
Rather than starting a war of words online, Matt accepted the challenge. Tomorrow Jay Williams will join Kentucky Sports Radio. The show is live from 10 am-Noon. You don’t want to miss it.
Are You Ready for the John Calipari Arkansas Documentary?
We learned back in December that Vice Media was following the former Kentucky head coach for an all-access, behind-the-scenes documentary. It’s something Kentucky fans are quite accustomed to. ESPN did an All-Access series after the National Championship season. There was the 30 for 30 and also a Facebook show. This one should be a bit juicier thanks to the rough start to Arkansas’ season.

Today, the first trailer was released for “Calipari: Razor’s Edge.” The series will debut Monday, Feb. 10 at 10 pm EST on Vice TV.
If you don’t want more John Calipari on your television screen, maybe I can interest you in another former Kentucky head coach. Around the same time, Vice TV will also produce a behind-the-scenes doc on Rick Pitino, Pitino: Red Storm Rising. Get your popcorn.
