Jayden Quaintance, Boogie Fland named McDonald's All-Americans
Add two more Burger Boys to the list for John Calipari — and potentially a third.
The 2024 McDonald’s All-American Game roster has been released, with two Kentucky signees making the team in Jayden Quaintance and Boogie Fland. That pushes Coach Cal’s total to 48 overall since arriving in Lexington, 16 years of recruiting classes — plus Oscar Tshiebwe and Reid Travis as incoming transfers.
Five-star wing target Karter Knox also made the cut, meaning his commitment would give the Cats three overall and 49 under Calipari. Kentucky only had 31 Burger Boys in 31 years leading up to Coach Cal’s arrival.
DJ Wagner, Aaron Bradshaw, Justin Edwards and Reed Sheppard made up Kentucky’s four-man McDAAG group a year ago, Rob Dillingham being the lone Kentucky blue-chip signee left off the roster. At the time, Dillingham was declared ineligible for participation by the selection committee due to Overtime Elite not meeting the event’s criteria among eligible high schools.

That’s where Knox comes in, making history as the first OTE product to be named a McDonald’s All-American, joining Ole Miss signee John Bol.
