Kentucky missed out on blue-chip tailback Jordan Marshall when Michigan recorded a huge recruiting win over Ohio State in Cincinnati. However, the Wildcats are not done recruiting Archbishop Moeller in the 2024 cycle.
Current Wildcats Brenden Bates, Josh Kattus, and Brandon White each came to Kentucky from the powerhouse program. Seventh-round pick Carrington Valentine was also a Moeller alum. Vince Marrow has built some strong relationships at the private school in Cincinnati.
Kentucky is now an official player in another recruitment at Moeller.
Jewett Hayes (6-4, 210) is the No. 955 player in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. The EDGE prospect had taken unofficial visits to Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Iowa, and West Virginia. Hayes caught up with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons to provide an update on his recruitment.
Hayes is ready to schedule official visits and Kentucky has been in contact with the three-star recruit.

“Right now my parents and I are starting discuss official visits and where I want to go,” Hayes told On3. “We don’t have anything locked in yet, but we have like a couple of places. We’ve narrowed it down a little bit and we’re starting to kick people out and started to finalize who it’s gonna be.”
Keep the latest Moeller prospect on the radar as UK continues to schedule official visits with 2024 recruiting picking up steam.
