Kentucky is very much focused on building a 2025 roster with transfer portal visitors expected on campus once the calendar turns to January this week. The Wildcats have added 14 scholarship transfers to the roster, and we should expect some more to arrived over the next few months. But recruiting in the 2026 cycle is about to pick up steam.

The Wildcats do not have any prospects committed, but January will also mean the arrival of the first junior day and a spring semester filled with unofficial visits. A clear offensive line target emerged this week.

Kentucky is in the mix for three-star offensive lineman Joel Ervin.

The Cats made the top 10 cut for Joel Ervin along with Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, South Carolina, Syracuse, UCF, and USC. The Fort Myers (Fla.) High is inching close towards a decision. Offensive line figures to be a position of need again for Kentucky in the 2026 cycle.

Expect to see more recruiting developments for high school targets once the spring semester begins in January.
