WATCH: John Calipari declines to comment on Arkansas job while walking dog
John Calipari is in Lexington but he does not want to talk about his job situation. The day after news broke that Calipari is leaving Kentucky for Arkansas, WKYT captured Cal walking his dog Palmer with a stroller near his home on Richmond Road. When asked if he had anything he wanted to say to Kentucky fans, Calipari declined to comment.
“No, I don’t, I’m walking my dog right now,” Calipari said. “Nah, I’m good. My dog is walking with me.”
This isn’t quite Alan Cutler chasing Billy Gillispie around Memorial Coliseum, but it’s still odd that this could be our last view of Calipari in the Bluegrass…until he returns as head coach of the Razorbacks next season.
