John Calipari, Jimmy's Kentucky Roadshow to be featured on Pawn Stars
What do Chumlee from Pawn Stars and Kentucky head coach John Calipari have in common? They know a good collection of historic memorabilia when they see one.
And you won’t find one better than Jimmy Mahan’s in Lexington at Jimmy’s Kentucky Roadshow Shop.
Half card shop, half UK basketball museum, Kentucky Roadshow on Romany Road is set to be featured on History Channel’s Pawn Stars Do America. Mahan — objectively one of the kindest and most genuine humans you’ll ever meet — shared the news on Twitter this morning.
“Pretty awesome morning at the shop!!” Mahan wrote. “(Pawn Stars) filmed and we had Chum and (John Calipari) in talking Kentucky! That was a true blast! #PawnStarsDoAmerica”
Chumlee wasn’t just in and out with the film crew, either. The 40-year-old TV personality hung around and opened some FIFA cards with the staff.
Coach Cal shared a few pictures of his own on social media, telling fans to stay tuned for the upcoming episode in Season 2 of Pawn Stars Do America.

No announcement regarding the episode’s anticipated air date, but the Season 1 rollout took place between November 9 and December 28, 2022. A late fall or early winter airing on History Channel would certainly make sense.
As for Jimmy’s Kentucky Roadshow Shop, if you haven’t checked it out yet in Chevy Chase, what are you waiting for? You won’t find a bigger and more impressive collection of Kentucky basketball collectibles anywhere — signed jerseys, sneakers, game-worn gear, photos and art, etc. Heck, the original baseline from Rupp Arena is the floor of the shop right when you walk through the doors.
No better person or place to be featured on national television than Jimmy Mahan and his Kentucky Roadshow Shop.
