John Calipari says Zvonimir Ivisic will sit out Blue-White Game
Bad news, BBN. Zvonimir Ivisic won’t be playing in tonight’s Blue-White Game after all.
John Calipari announced the news earlier today that Ivisic, who has practiced for just three days since arriving in the United States last week, will be held out of the exhibition for precautionary reasons. Calipari had previously said following Big Blue Madness that Ivisic would play in the Blue-White Game. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the debut of Kentucky’s 7-foot-2 Croatian freshman.
“Good afternoon, #BBN! Good news is we’re on our way to the Children’s Advocacy Center to do a clinic and spend some time with the kids in northern Kentuck,” Calipari wrote on social media. ”Then we’ll be on our way to NKU for the Blue-White Game…we haven’t decided on teams yet but will probably change groups as we play.

“Z will be with us but the bad news is, since he has only practiced for three days and still is in his ramp-up period, he will be held out as a precaution.
“Look forward to seeing everybody at NKU!”
