First up: "Mornings with Maria Bartitromo" on the Fox Business channel. I tuned in, and honestly, most of it was stuff we've heard before and how his method of recruiting applies to the business wor---zzzZZZZzzzzz. Okay, sorry, I'm up now. After he touted out the program's various accomplishments -- 28 draft picks in 7 years, yada yada -- Calipari actually talked a little basketball. Kind of. "I had to call my three guards in and say, 'You're going to take most of the shots, so don't take bad ones. Let the other guys take those shots. You're taking most of the shots.' That was my meeting with my guards three days ago." "The biggest thing in this, it's appealing to their aspirations, not their ego," Cal said. "Being able to coach them. Part of this is through the recruiting process, getting the right players. Extreme talent likes to be around other talent. It's not like they want to be the only guy. " Get ready to hear those quotes a million more times today. Regardless, I'll be watching.
