John Calipari's return to Kentucky set for February (plus the rest of UK's SEC schedule)
John Calipari will make his return to Kentucky on Saturday, February 1, it was announced on Tuesday. The new head coach of Arkansas is set to bring his Razorbacks to Rupp Arena for his first game back in Lexington since leaving the Wildcats back in April after 15 seasons at UK.
That was just one of the Southeastern Conference games that was unveiled for Kentucky and new head coach Mark Pope though. The Wildcats’ full SEC schedule was also released. Below is who Kentucky will play in 2024-25. A handful of midweek games do not have finalized dates, but the SEC has noted that they will take place on either a Tuesday or Wednesday.

With this news, the entirety of Kentucky’s 2024-25 schedule has now been made public. Of note, Kentucky will play both SEC newcomers this season, going on the road to face Texas and Oklahoma in February. Preceding 18 straight SEC games to close out the regular season, the Wildcats will face the likes of Duke, Clemson, Gonzaga, Louisville, and Ohio State, among other smaller schools, in the non-conference.
