Kentucky vs. Louisville battle is brewing in recruitment of four-star Jordan Crutchfield

Official visits trips are being locked in across the college football landscape. The Kentucky football program is working hard to get prospects in town for those important dates in June. Those visits are typically where recruiting battles are won or lost.
Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood cornerback Jordan Crutchfield is one of the top targets on Kentucky’s recruiting board. Linebackers coach Mike Stoops and co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Chris Collins are running this recruitment for the Wildcats. The No. 327 overall player in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking will be in Lexington this summer.
Jordan Crutchfield will also be at Louisville for an official visit in June. A Governor’s Cup recruiting battle is brewing for this four-star talent in the Sunshine State.
“I have a great relationship with coach Collins at Kentucky. He makes me feel like family,” Crutchfield told On3’s Chad Simmons this week. “I had a great visit up there, it is a good atmosphere and I like how everything is compact and close together around the campus.”

Mississippi State is also making a push for the defensive back prospect. Miami and Penn State could be some other schools to watch out for. But right now this appears to be a Kentucky vs. Louisville recruiting battle in Florida.
