Josh Allen Sets Jacksonville Jaguars Single-Season Sack Record
Josh Allen is that dude. Just a few days after he watched his former team play at his current team’s home stadium, Allen made a little history.
The struggling Jaguars were seeking to shake off a four-game losing streak and got a lift from one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. Josh Allen tallied two sacks in the first half to surpass his mentor, Calais Campbell. He finished the game with three sacks, improving to 16.5 this season and setting a new Jacksonville single-season record. Allen started the day ranked sixth in the NFL in sacks. Today he almost caught up to TJ Watt‘s league-leading 17 sacks.
Unlike his alma mater, Allen the Jags were able to get a much-needed win at EverBank Stadium. Jacksonville blanked Carolina 26-0, which should get them into the postseason. In addition to the three sacks, Allen finished the day with 6 tackles. Allen is playing his best football before he gets paid this offseason in free agency.
Rushing Touchdown for Wan’Dale Robinson
Wan’Dale Robinson still has juice. The former Kentucky wide receiver made plenty of plays throughout his time in Lexington in a variety of ways. The Giants are finally starting to use some gadget plays to get him the ball in space.
Robinson rushed the reverse 24 yards into the end zone. In addition to his rushing score, he caught a team-high 6 passes for 55 yards. The Giants missed a game-winning field to fall 26-25 to the Rams.

Former Kentucky QB Will Levis Sidelined
The Titans were asking for the future of their franchise to get killed. Will Levis was sacked early in the game against the Houston Texans’ Jerry Hughes. Former Louisville Cardinal Sheldon Rankins recovered the fumble and returned it for a touchdown to give Houston a 17-0 lead.
Levis could not contain his emotions as he limped on the sideline. He just played his way back into action after an ankle injury sidelined him in week 16.
Frankly, they need to shelve Will Levis for the year. The Titans offensive line is a disgrace to football. Even if the former Wildcat is healthy enough to play in the regular season finale, it would be cruel to trot him out behind that offensive line for another game.
