While Green has said that he will likely wait until the Spring to make a decision, Christopher told KSR at Peach Jam that he will likely commit whenever he feels the time is right. Once he feels at home, the 6-foot-5 guard says he will make his announcement. Ever since earning a scholarship from Kentucky right after Peach Jam, the Wildcats have been trending in a major way for the five-star prospect, with 100% of his Crystal Ball picks now in favor of UK. This evening, Christopher didn't do much to dismiss the pro-Kentucky buzz. On his Instagram story, the Bellflower, CA native posted a picture of him alongside former Kentucky stars Malik Monk, Kevin Knox, Tyler Herro, and Jamal Murray with the caption "BBN?!" Interesting. Very interesting. He also posted a Missouri edit to his story with a Stranger Things theme, but there’s no doubt that the Kentucky one was way better. In an interview with KSR at Peach Jam, Christopher said he had been waiting for an offer from John Calipari his entire life and that it would be a dream come true to finally land one. “I mean, shoot, it’s Kentucky. It’s Calipari,“ he told KSR. “I think any player that’s in high school appreciates what Calipari brings to the table. Of course, being myself, a kid, you always watch Kentucky. You always watch guys like Anthony Davis, John Wall, stuff like that. Of course you appreciate that and take it into consideration [when making a college decision].” Now, the Wildcats have included Christopher in their "pie in the sky" dream recruiting blueprint, hoping to get him on board sooner rather than later. Sources tell KSR that a visit to Lexington is in the works for the near future. Could they go in for the kill then? Regardless, it certainly doesn't hurt UK's chances that he's posting updates like one he did this evening. Come on down. [mobile_ad]
