Joson Sanon is currently on an unofficial visit to Kentucky
You already knew 2025 five-star guard Darryn Peterson was in Lexington for an official visit, checking out Kentucky‘s matchup vs. Vanderbilt on Senior Day. But how about a surprise addition to the Rupp Arena guest list?
Top-15 recruit Joson Sanon, currently a member of the 2025 class and a serious reclass candidate for 2024, has arrived for an unofficial visit.
The nation’s No. 11 overall prospect and No. 4 shooting guard is currently sitting behind the Kentucky bench.
His trip to Lexington comes after a pitstop in Louisville, meeting with Kenny Payne before making his way to the Cardinals’ in-state rival for the late-night matchup against the Commodores.

College Football Rankings released after Week 6 following slew of upsets
Sanon recently included Kentucky in his top-10 list, the Wildcats joining Arizona, Boston College, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Overtime Elite, and Providence among finalists.
“They’re basically saying that they can get me ready for the next level, just like how they got their guards projected in the first round,” Sanon told KSR+ of the Cats. “They’re a blue-blood and they get you ready for the league. They play fast.”
What is he looking for in a program?
“The environment, a spot open for me next year, and somewhere I can go play a lot,” he said.
Will that be Kentucky? John Calipari is throwing his hat in the ring.
