Kentucky transfer target Justin Bowick locks in visit with Penn State

Kentucky is in the market for some wide receiver help in the transfer portal. Last week, the program hosted Wake Forest transfer Horatio Fields for a visit. Ball State transfer Justin Bowick is scheduled to visit Lexington late this week. A new program entered the chat for the MAC transfer on Sunday.

Penn State will also Bowick for a visit this week.

Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, and Penn State are all in line to get visits from the X receiver. A competitive recruitment is heating up.

Justin Bowick recorded 11 receptions for 131 yards as a senior at Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy and began his collegiate career at Eastern Illinois. Bowick accumulated 35 catches for 499 yards as sophomore in 2023. Entered the transfer portal after that season and landed at Ball State. Missed eight games due to injury playing for the Cardinals in 2024. Recorded 20 receptions on 33 targets for 383 yards and three touchdowns with consecutive 100-yard games to end the season. Bowick finished the year with a 27.3 percent explosive catch rate.

Kentucky’s pursuit for wide receiver help in the free agency market continues.
