Justin Edwards will make college decision at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 25
We have a decision time locked in for Justin Edwards’ upcoming commitment.
According to Travis Branham of 247Sports, the five-star class of 2023 wing will make his announcement on Monday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. EST live on CBS Sports HQ. Edwards is down to just two options, Kentucky and Tennessee, with the Wildcats trending as the leader heading down the final stretch.
Edwards’ decision will come the day after this week’s Nike Peach Jam event comes to a conclusion, where is suiting up for Team Final in hopes of winning the prestigious grassroots tournament. He’s already played in a pair of games on Sunday and Monday with a third coming up Tuesday evening against the New Heights Lightning. Edwards is averaging 19.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals in those two outings while shooting 45.9 percent from the field.
Following his second game on Monday — a tightly-contested 61-58 victory over Kentucky commit Robert Dillingham and Team CP3 — Edwards briefly spoke with KSR to discuss his upcoming decision.
“I feel like I know where I want to go so there’s no need to wait. So might as well just get to it,” Edwards told KSR.

Kentucky head coach John Calipari has assumed the lead role in Edwards recruitment as of late, which has led to the shift in predictions preferring the ‘Cats. With six days until his announcement, a total of nine projections across On3, 247Sports, and Rivals have been logged since July 12 in favor of UK.
“It’s Coach Calipari, so if he’s reaching out to you more than all the other coaches, it must mean something, so that’s a big thing to me,” Edwards said.
