Kalib Perry was a standout at Georgetown (Ky.) Great Crossing in the 2022 high recruiting cycle who got out of the state. After spending his first two seasons at Tennessee, the off-ball linebacker entered the transfer portal. Perry will be returning to his home state but it will be to play in the ACC.

The former three-star recruit with one year of eligibility remaining committed to Louisville on Monday.

The 6-foot-3 and 231-pound linebacker played 500-plus defensive snaps for Tennessee during his three seasons on Rocky Top. Perry played in 36 total games during his Tennessee career and drew two starting assignments. The transfer recorded career highs in tackles (26) and tackles for loss (three) during his junior campaign.

Louisville is once again highly active in the transfer portal under head coach Jeff Brohm. The Cardinals have added 17 transfers to the roster this offseason headline by USC quarterback Miller Moss.
