Kent State EDGE Kameron Olds locks in visit with Kentucky

USC transfer Sam Greene was the first addition for the Kentucky football program during portal season. That helped address EDGE but the Wildcats are not doing recruiting the position. There are snaps to fill.
Another transfer target at the position will be on campus this weekend.
Kent State transfer Kameron Olds has visited Georgia Tech and Nebraska but will make two stops in SEC country before making a decision. Kentucky (Dec. 20) and Ole Miss (Dec. 21) are scheduled to get the MAC transfer on campus this weekend, according to 247 Sports’ Brian Dohn.
“It’s the SEC and coach Brad White, the d-coordinator, he’s been recruiting me and the conversations with him are good.” Olds told Dohn. “I feel like I need to see the people, meet the people. I’ve been to Kentucky before during the recruiting process but I feel like I need to see it now.”
Kameron Olds (6-4, 240) started his career at Buffalo in 2022 and played in 21 total games for the Bulls. Olds transferred to Kent State after a coaching change at UB and had a career year as a junior. The Richmond (Va.) Midlothian product recorded 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, six sacks, and 29 pressures in 474 defensive snaps.
