Kentucky Baseball has reeled in its first big Power-Five fish out of the Transfer Portal.

Kansas State catcher Raphael Pelletier, who will be a redshirt senior next season, is transferring to Kentucky. This might signal the end of Devin Burkes‘ tenure in Lexington.

He was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2023 with a .257 batting average and six home runs. He experienced a bit of a down year in 2024 however, as he hit just .210 with nine home runs. Two of his nine home runs came against Oklahoma State on April 20.
