Even though he entered the transfer portal last week, Keion Brooks is still chasing his professional dreams. Adam Zagoria reports that Brooks has been invited to the NBA G-League Elite Camp, which takes place May 13-15 in Chicago, just prior to the NBA Draft Combine (May 16-22).

The top 60-70 draft prospects are invited to the Combine and the next 40 prospects are invited to the G-League Elite Camp. The three-day event gives players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives. Those who perform the best will be invited to the Combine.

Zagoria says Brooks is focusing on the draft for now, but if he wants to return to college, he has until June 1 to withdraw his name. Over three seasons as a Wildcat, Brooks averaged 8.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. In 2021-22 he started 33 of Kentucky’s 34 games, scoring in double figures 17 times. He averaged a career-best 10.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field. His best performance came in Kentucky’s 80-62 blowout of eventual 2022 National Champions Kansas, in which he scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
