Last week, Keion Brooks Jr. announced that he will test the NBA Draft waters, but is maintaining his college eligibility. After three years at Kentucky, Brooks is going to look into a professional career.

“First off, I would like to thank God for blessing me and putting me in this position,” Brooks said. “Secondly, I would like to thank all my teammates and coaches along the way for helping me prepare and pushing me to be the best player I can be.

“With that being said, I am looking forward to the next chapter and I will enter my name into the NBA Draft while maintaining my college eligibility. I appreciate all the love and support as I work toward chasing my dream of playing in the NBA.”

The former five-star prospect played in 80 games and earned 42 starts since arriving on campus for the 2019-20 season. As a junior, Keion Brooks Jr. set career highs in points per game (10.8), minutes per game (24.5), and two-point field goal percentage (52.2%). He is now looking to make pro basketball career and is getting an early start in the memorabilia game.

On Saturday, Brooks announced that he now has his own trading card through The Players Trunk. The early returns look nice.

For as cheap as $14.99, fans can get a limited edition signed card by Brooks. The Indiana native is looking to expand his brand, and trading cards look to be his start. The junior has some time to make a decision about his playing future, but the veteran is attempting to grow his brand in the present.
