kelenna_azubuike2 A lingering knee injury has forced former Cat Kelenna Azubuike into an early retirement from basketball. Azubuike spent five years in the NBA (averaging 14.4 pts a game in 2008-2009) before he had to hang up his sneakers. Lex 18 caught up with Kelenna this weekend to see how is handling life after basketball. Apparently, he's entered the film industry:
Azubuike is the executive producer on the film "Midrange", a Christian-themed basketball film. He even starred as himself in the film. He hopes to continue making more movies with an important message of faith and never giving up.
Good to hear. Best of luck to Kelenna on his new career path. For old time's sake, here are some highlights of Azubuike doing what he did best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgtqsacMLO0
