Inside the NBA personality Kenny 'the Jet' Smith walked off the set on Wednesday night. He did so to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake and to stand with the NBA players'
decision Wednesday night. He said it doesn't feel appropriate to be on the show and wanted to show his solidarity.
"I think the biggest thing now, as a Black man and a former player, I think it’s best for me to support the players and not be here tonight,” he said before leaving the set. “We’ll figure out what happens after that. I just don’t feel equipped to be here.”
