It’s been a tough weekend for Kentucky offensively, hasn’t it? After 20 minutes of play, your University of Kentucky Wildcats lead the Missouri Western State Griffons 26-18 at Rupp Arena. That may surprise many of you, who have been unable to watch the game due to the Texas A&M/Mississippi State women’s soccer game, which is currently in overtime on the SEC Network.

Jacob Toppin leads the way with 9 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3PT). CJ Fredrick has six points and five other Wildcats have scored: Antonio Reeves (3 points), Chris Livingston (2), Lance Ware (2), Sahvir Wheeler (2), and Ugonna Onyenso (2). As expected, Oscar Tshiebwe is out as he continues to recover from a minor knee procedure. With Oscar out, Onyenso’s getting extended minutes and has five blocks, three rebounds, and two points thus far.

The Cats are hitting 41% from the field, 18% from three. If those numbers aren’t indication enough, it’s been a pretty ugly night at Rupp thus far. Alas, onward to the second half, which may or may not play on the SEC Network instead of the app. Box score and highlights below.
