Kentucky Advances Past Ohio in the LLWS

Warren County South Little League out of Bowling Green is representing Kentucky in this year’s Little League World Series. After the first day of play in the Great Lakes Regional, they are one step closer to punching their ticket to Williamsport. Warren South beat West Side Little Leauge (Ohio) in the opening round pitcher’s duel 2-1.

Warren South fell down 1-0 after the 2nd inning but was able to put together a 2-run 3rd inning that was able to carry them all the way to victory.

James Yarbrough picked up the win in a solid 2.2 inning performance where he only gave up one hit against Westside. Camden Page threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Camden recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Warren South.
Warren South will be back in action for Kentucky again tomorrow when they face off against Illinois at 10:30 a.m. ET on ESPN+.
