WATCH: Matt Jones discusses Kentucky's monster road win over Auburn

Kentucky basketball did not have much momentum entering this week. John Calipari’s squad had lost three consecutive home games to Florida, Tennessee, and Gonzaga. Kentucky was reeling. The NCAA Tournament resume was not in good shape. Opening the SEC Tournament on Thursday looked very possible.

Things sure can change quickly in a week.

The Wildcats capped off the best week of the season with a win over No. 13 Auburn on Saturday in front of a rowdy crowd at Neville Arena. On the postgame show after the win, KSR’s Matt Jones discussed just how big of a win this was for the program.

Getting this Quad 1 victory nearly makes Kentucky an at-large lock for the NCAA Tournament and gives the Wildcats a great shot at locking in a top-four seed for the SEC Tournament. With three weeks left in the season, all of the goals are still on the table.
