There weren’t a ton of offensive highlights in Kentucky’s 10-3 win over Auburn, but on defense, there were plenty.

The Cats totaled 7 sacks and 12 tackles for loss, holding the Tigers to 241 total yards. After a rough couple of games, Brad White’s unit answered the bell, holding Auburn’s offense in check to allow Cutter Boley and the offense to put up just enough points to win. Jacob Kauwe got the Cats on the board first with a 48-yard field goal, which the Tigers matched just before halftime.

In the second half, Kentucky took the lead again with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Boley to Kendrick Law with 9:27 to go in the third quarter. It was a 10-play, 75-yard scoring drive. Thankfully, Auburn never responded — although the last few minutes were very, very close. Aidan Laros deserves credit, too, for flipping the field and allowing the defense to smother the Tigers.

Law led the Cats in catches, with six for 49 yards, but Cam Miller was next up with three for 28 yards. He earned the game ball from Mark Stoops for forcing a fumble when Auburn picked Boley off with 3 minutes to go. Check out all the big moments below to the tune of Tom Leach and Jeff Piecoro.
