If Kentucky wins tonight’s game against the Hoosiers, the two teams will battle again on Monday night in the Lexington Regional final at Kentucky Proud Park. A loss tonight would end UK’s season and send Indiana through to the Super Regionals. Kentucky dropped a heartbreaker to the Hoosiers, 5-3, on Saturday but will have a shot at revenge in another win-or-stay-home scenario.
The Wildcats made it to this point by thrashing West Virginia 10-0 in an elimination game earlier on Sunday, knocking the Mountaineers out of the NCAA Tournament. Two more wins for Kentucky would send them to the Super Regionals for the first time since 2017 and just the second time in school history.
