Kentucky Baseball's game vs. EKU canceled due to weather

The No. 23 Kentucky Baseball team was supposed to host Eastern Kentucky in the second game of a doubleheader this afternoon at Kentucky Proud Park, but Mother Nature has other plans. Today’s game has been canceled due to forecasted rain, heavy winds, and dropping temperatures in Lexington. No make-up game has been set.
The news may be a relief to the Colonoels, who lost to the Bat Cats 16-0 in seven innings last night in Richmond. It was Kentucky’s fourth run-rule and third shutout win of the season. Shaun Montoya had a grand slam and Tyler Bell and Cole Gage had solo home runs, all three coming in the fifth inning. Eight Wildcats recorded at least one RBI, with Patrick Herrera and Montoya finishing with four each.
